In 1903 he was convicted at the Bromsgrove Petty Sessions of using foul language in his own house and was fined 2s 6d3211.
“He was a soldier in the Boer War. On his return he had gone a little funny and spent the rest of his life in Mental Hospitals. He spent two years in Powick and then moved to Barnsley Hall when it opened. He later died there.”1558
