“Death of Mr. D. T. Chadder. – The death took place suddenly on Sunday morning of Mr. Donald Thomas Chadder, of Mount Road. He had only complained of a cold, and went to bed early on Saturday night. He was feeling no better on Sunday morning, but later, upon his wife going upstairs, she found he was dead. He was at work at the Austin Motor Works until 5.30 p.m. on Saturday. He leaves a wife and two children, who have the sympathy of all Fairfield people in their sad and tragic bereavment. Mr. Chadder was the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Chadder, Torcross, near Kingsbridge, Devon. The funeral took place at Fairfield on Wednesday afternoon”
