In 1838 she registered the death of her father-in-law John Lammas1833.
In 1843 she registered the death of her daughter Mary Lammas1834.
In 1851 she registered the death of her son Albert Lammas1825.
“Inquest. R. Docker, esq., coroner, held an inquest at the Green Dragon Inn, on Saturday afternoon, on the body of Sophia Lomas, aged sixty-four years, wife of Thomas Lomas, nailer, Sidemoor, who died suddenly on the evening of the 11th instant. Catherine Bennett, stated that about six o’clock on Wednesday evening she saw the deceased come up the allotments with her little grandchild, and she suddenly fell down in the road. Witness ran out of the shop and picked deceased up, and she gave one gasp and died directly. Mr. Davenport, surgeon, who had seen the body, said there were no marks of violence on it, and nothing to lead to a suspicion that she had come to her death from other than natural causes. From the circumstances of the death he believed it was caused by heart disease. The jury returned a verdict of “Death from natural causes.”1829
